Meet The Team

Hi, I am Danielle, but I prefer to go by the name “Dani”. I am the proud mother of 2 young women the love of my life as well as a proud grandmother of 2 grandsons. I’ve been in dentistry since 1992 and enjoy everything about this axillary.  I’ve been with Sunset Family Dentistry since 2016 working under the great leadership of Dr. Colson Scott. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family and friends.

Crystal Joyner has been in the dental field for over 20 years.   She earned my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University.  My main goal is to ensure that the patient feels comfortable, receives excellent dental care, and feels safe.

Crystal Joyner is a Hampton Roads native who volunteers her dental hygiene services in her community.  When not at work, I can most often be found enjoying family and friends, going to a museum, painting, trying anything new and adventurous, and the list goes on and on!

Lyn is a lifelong Norfolk resident who has practiced dental hygiene for the past 36 years.  She began working with Dr. Richard Bolen the previous owner of our practice in 1990 and then with Dr. Colson in 2007 as the new and current owner of Sunset Family Dentistry.  Lyn has had the honor of knowing and serving multiple generations for their dental hygiene needs over the course of many years.  Lyn treasures working with individuals and meeting them where they are and assisting them toward ideal dental wellness.

Yolanda Rymal, a Mississippi native, came to reside in Hampton Roads through her exciting 10-year military career with the United States Navy. Yolanda proudly served our country in uniform stateside and abroad as a dental technician and a leader. She developed a strong passion for oral health and left the USN to pursue becoming a dental hygienist. She eared er professional degree and training from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. She has a broad scope of experience that has allowed her to hone her technical skills to a high degree to provide the best available outcome. She is well known b her patient s to be friendly, compassionate, gentle, and highly skilled.  Yolanda has dedicated the past 7 years to Sunset Family Dentistry serving the local Hampton Roads population and looks forward to each patient encounter. During her time outside of work she balances a busy family life with two exceptional children and a loving husband- and enjoys watching a good movie during her rare free time.
